Help! Electrical gremlins?
We've lived in the house for 2 years. Had a flow through water heater installed when we moved in. It has two 60 AMP fuses. The box is rated 150. Last month, the main breaker started to pop if the hot water was on for more than about 15 minutes.... We are rural, and electricians are very expensive, they don't want to drive all the way out here for less
Change the main breaker for a 200 amp breaker. The breaker you currently have is getting near its thermal cutout rating. As long as you have breakers on the circuits you are using, then you will be safe. If you want to change the breaker yourself, then the safe way of doing it is this.
REMEMBER THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS TO DO: BE SAFE.
Disconnect the breaker by lifting it off the rail. (wear rubber gloves). Do not touch

Hubbell Marine's UL-Listed 200 Amp Ship-To-Shore system
An increasing number of marinas around the world are providing dockside 200 amp service. Just as it pioneered marinized 100 amp service, Hubbell Marine is the only source for a UL-Listed 200 Amp Ship-To-Shore System.
Designed specifically for superyachts, the CSA-certified device features a NEMA 4X-rated watertight black box, fittings and accessories. The rugged aluminum housing is finished with an electrostatically applied, non-conductive epoxy/polyester. To stand up to corrosive marine conditions, pins and sleeves are made of heat-resistant, nickel-plated Tellurium copper.
Terminal screws feature swivel/pressure pads to eliminate breakage and distortion of the wire's conductor strands. For further protection, a cable clamp captures cable at four points. Easily installed, the 200 Amp Ship-to-Shore System from Hubbell Marine accepts a cord range of #1 AWG to 250 MCM. For convenience, the 200 amp service is compatible with other UL1682 systems such as Crouse-Hinds and Appleton. The 4-pole, 5-wire system is 600V AC/250V DC and 50-400 Hertz.

To my knowledge, there are two different types of hair sockets. The plug on my dryer did not fit with the release of this apartment. I then deftly removed the plug, it took a home store to supermarket, bought the other type, is returned to the apartment, climbed onto the hair and shimmied between the back of the dryer and the wall to affix the new record. I stood, probably in shock behind the dryer to try to understand if I was dead or alive, and then crawled onto the dryer and put it on my couch with my cordless phone in my hand, which of course don ' has not worked because there was no electricity.Somewhere I had the operation, the non-fried brain cells (ok, ok being a definition) and I got my cell phone.
